Midland Terrace was built in in the beautiful suburbs of South Carolina’s “Flower Town”, Summerville, in 2001. Summerville became the “home away from home” for many of the wealthy Charleston residents in the 18th and 19th century because of the relief afforded from heat and other discomforts by moving slightly inland. It is from this practice of using the area as a retreat that it got its name, “Summerville”. The historic nature of Summerville combined with its lavish flowering landscape has made it one of the “Lowcountry of South Carolina’s” most popular tourist attractions.

Midland Terrace Sign

Midland Terrace continues this Summerville tradition of being called a “Flower Town” with our elaborate and luxuriously landscaped grounds. Combining our landscaping with our gazebo’s, grilling stations, pool, ponds, and fountains make living at Midland Terrace a source of pride for our residents. Plus, we do the yard work while you enjoy the fruits of our efforts. We have created a very relaxing and serene atmosphere with a tropical flare. Our resort-style swimming pool is surrounded by hundreds of flowering plants, shrubs, and even 11 different types of palm trees throughout the property.

Come visit our amazing community, friendly staff, and welcoming residents to obtain the feel of true Southern Hospitality.
